Nofi Dice Privacy Policy
How the game handles your information.
Last updated:
This policy covers Nofi Dice - Party Game (the "Game"), an iOS game published by Tom Manger (Ploxie Games). It explains what the Game uses, what it does not, and where that information goes.
1. We do not collect personal information
The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no registration and no contact forms. We run no servers for the Game, so nothing you do in it is sent to us. We never ask for your email address, phone number, date of birth, location or payment details.
2. Your player name
To sit at a table you type a player name. It is shown to the other players in your room and saved on your device so it is filled in next time. It is never sent to us. You can use a nickname, and you can change it at any time.
3. Playing with friends on your local network
Nofi Dice is played by phones that are on the same Wi-Fi network (or one phone's hotspot). The phone that opens a room acts as the host, and the other phones connect to it directly over that network. iOS asks for your permission to use the local network the first time; the Game cannot host or join a room without it.
While you play, the phones in your room exchange only what the game needs:
- your player name;
- a random player ID that the Game creates on your device, so you keep your seat if your connection drops or another phone takes over as host. It is not an Apple or advertising identifier and it is not linked to you;
- your phone's address on the local network, so the other phones can reach it. The room code is a scrambled form of the host's local address;
- the game itself: seats, dice throws, bets and chip counts.
This information travels directly between the phones in the room and is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is kept in memory for the length of the game.
4. No real money
Chips in the Game are game points only. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and cannot be won as prizes. The Game has no in-app purchases.
5. No advertising, analytics or tracking
- The Game shows no advertising and includes no advertising SDKs.
- We run no analytics and build no profile of you.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the Game does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- We do not sell, rent or trade any information about you.
The Game is built with the Unity engine. No Unity services, such as Unity Analytics or Unity Ads, are enabled in it. The engine itself may send Unity Technologies basic technical information about the device (such as model, operating-system version and graphics hardware) to help Unity improve the engine; it does not identify you. See unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.
6. Children
The Game is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Your choices
You can turn off the Game's local network access at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. Deleting the Game removes your saved player name and player ID from your device.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
