Puporia Privacy Policy

How the game handles your information.

Last updated:

This policy covers Puporia: Dog Match & Collect (the "Game"), a game for iPhone published by Zero Four Ltd (Ploxie Games). It explains what the Game collects, what it does not, and who else is involved.

1. We do not ask you for personal information

The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no registration and no contact forms. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or payment details, and we do not collect them. We run no servers for the Game.

2. Your progress stays on your device

Your level progress, stars, coins, the dogs you have collected and your settings are saved only on your own device, in the Game's local storage. They are not uploaded to us, they are not shared with anyone, and they are removed when you delete the Game. There is no account-based cloud restore.

3. Advertising

The Game shows advertisements when your device is online:

  • an optional rewarded video, offered when you run out of moves, in exchange for extra moves. It is never forced: declining costs you nothing but the extra moves;
  • an occasional full-screen advertisement after a level ends;
  • a banner at the bottom of the screen while you play a level.

Those advertisements are delivered by Unity LevelPlay, which mediates advertising from the following networks:

  • ironSource Ads (Unity LevelPlay)
  • Unity Ads
  • Google AdMob

To deliver and measure advertisements, and to detect and prevent ad fraud, these partners may collect and process:

  • device identifiers, such as the identifier for vendors (IDFV) and, where available, other device or advertising identifiers;
  • your IP address, from which an approximate (coarse) location such as your country or region can be derived;
  • advertising interaction data: that an ad was requested, shown, clicked, completed or closed;
  • diagnostic and technical data, such as device model, operating-system version, language, screen size, and performance or crash information about the ads.

Each partner handles this data under its own privacy policy:

4. Analytics

The Game uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, for anonymous usage analytics: to understand how the Game is played and to improve it. It records in-game events, for example that a level was started, completed (with the score, stars and moves left) or failed, that the extra-moves offer or an advertisement was shown or completed, the revenue reported for an advertisement, and the highest level you have unlocked. Firebase also records standard events such as first open, session start and engagement time.

With these events Firebase processes a random app instance identifier, technical device information (model, operating-system version, language), the Game's version, and your IP address, from which an approximate country or region is derived. Analytics is not linked to your name or any account, does not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), and is not used for advertising: ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization signals are switched off.

Analytics follows the same consent as advertising (section 5): in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stays off unless you agree in Google's consent form, and if the Game cannot tell where you are, it treats you as in those regions.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: policies.google.com/privacy, firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. No tracking across apps, and your consent

The Game does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. It does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). Outside the regions below, advertising is non-personalized.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game shows a consent form, provided through Google's User Messaging Platform, before any advertisement is requested. Advertising is personalized only if you agree there; otherwise it is non-personalized. The same form decides whether analytics (section 4) and the Meta SDK (section 6) may run. You can change your answer at any time from the Privacy choices button on the Game's home screen.

6. Meta (Facebook) SDK

The Game uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure app installs and app events, such as the Game being opened, the first level won, new levels reached and rewarded videos watched. This helps us understand how players find the Game and measure our own advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. The Game does not use Facebook Login and does not send Meta your name, email address or other contact details.

To do this, Meta may process the app events, technical device information (model, operating-system version, language), your IP address and an app-specific identifier. Because the Game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, it does not share your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) with Meta. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the Meta SDK runs only if you agree on the consent form (section 5).

Meta's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

7. Unity engine data

The Unity engine the Game is built with may send Unity Technologies basic, anonymous technical information about the device (such as model, operating-system version and graphics hardware) when the device is online, to help Unity improve the engine. This does not include your name or any other information that identifies you.

8. What we do not do

  • We do not build a profile of you by name, and analytics is never linked to who you are.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade any information about you.
  • We do not ask for, and have no access to, your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

9. Children

The Game is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game never asks to track anyone, and outside the consent regions described in section 5 advertising is non-personalized. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, please contact us using the address below and we will delete it.

10. Your choices

The Game plays fully offline; without a connection no advertisements are requested, and analytics events wait on the device until it is next online. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you can revisit the consent form from Privacy choices on the home screen. You can reset your device's advertising identifier under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. Deleting the Game removes all of its locally stored data, including your progress.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy was last updated on October 18, 2026, when the Meta (Facebook) SDK was added to the Game, after advertising and Google Analytics for Firebase on October 16, 2026. If it changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
